Volunteer Survey 2025

This survey has now closed and results are provided below.

Thank you for your contribution to our Volunteer Survey 2025.

The 2025 Volunteer survey was created on the Engage platform and ran from 19 August to 21 September (34 days). Overall, the feedback was very positive and it’s clear we have a highly engaged and satisfied volunteer base.

Out of 83 volunteers, 74 completed the survey which is an 89% response rate, compared to 56% response rate in 2024

See below a summary of the results.

This feedback is very important to us and will help guide the future of the program.

It highlights the areas we can focus on to do better, as well as the areas that we are doing well in.

We look forward to your invaluable contribution in 2026.

We noted over 60% of survey contributions came from the Tweed Valley site. All sites were represented in the feedback other than MPS.

Most roles represented were either Greet and Guide or Patient Companion.

Q3. Common sentiment was:

•Retirement
•Have always volunteered and would like to continue
•Supporting the community

Q4 & 5:

* highlighted green shows where we are doing well, red shows where we can focus on aligning.

Q6. Common sentiment was:

75% feel confident in carrying out their tasks*

*This figure was swayed by a large cohort of 38 volunteers that had been moved to 'active volunteer' status but were yet to complete a shift.
This was supported by a lot of feedback in open ended questions where they mentioned they had not completed a shift yet, so could not provide informed feedback.
