Northern NSW Local Health District values the community’s feedback on our services

We’re looking for people with lived experience of accessing Alcohol and Other Drugs Services to join our Advisory Group.

The Alcohol and Other Drugs Community Advisory Group works in collaboration with NSW Health to review and improve our Alcohol and Other Drugs services. See below for more information and contact Tess to join the group.

The Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) AOD Community Advisory Group meets every 2 months on a Monday between 10.00am-12.00pm. You can come to meetings in person at Lismore or join online via Microsoft Teams.

In meetings we talk about current information and issues related to people who use alcohol and other drugs.

Members of the group share lived experience wisdom to improve local AOD services.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in projects outside of the group.

You can contribute as much or as little as you feel comfortable and you do not have to share any personal information.

Yes, the payment is $40/hour, this includes travel time and time spent on reading and other relevant activities outside of the group.

Please see more information about remuneration here.
