As part of a $200.1 million NSW Health program, Northern NSW Local Health District is delivering dedicated key health worker accommodation in Grafton, Lismore and Tweed.

Key Health Worker Accommodation (KWA) is purpose-built or dedicated housing provided for essential staff who work in hospitals or health facilities, such as doctors, nurses or allied health professionals.

These projects offer safe, modern and convenient accommodation to meet short and long-term needs of healthcare workers, while supporting the delivery of high-quality care.

By easing travel, cost-of-living and housing pressures, Key Health Worker Accommodation supports the recruitment and retention of staff, particularly in rural and remote areas.

Information on Key Health Worker Accommodation projects in Lismore and Tweed coming soon.
