What is a Yarn Up?

Yarn Up events are for Aboriginal families in Northern NSW. They help to raise awareness about immunisation and women’s cancer screenings.

Representatives from women's and children's health services will be at the events. There will also be arts and crafts and wellbeing activities.

We will provide lunch and goodie bags as well as education and resources about:

• immunisation
• breast and cervical cancer screening
• social and emotional wellbeing
• family and domestic violence.

You can also become a women’s health champion if you would like to help share this information with others.
